I have noticed as I go through mama's pictures, every once in awhile I come across a photo of my father. Not portrait, he is just there. It says something about them to me, each one I find makes me realize how little I actually knew of their lives together. I have pictures of Randy in the same way, he unaware, and rarely shared, just there for me and my heart. I think it was the same for mom. When I mentioned it to her she got shy and said, yes I have a few of those, head down and a sheepish smile creeping up her face, As though it was shameful in some way. Photos are windows, I see that more and more each day.
My name is Jan Neel; I have a photo blog;http://jovanesphotos.blogspot.com/ .I felt it would be appropriate to scan and share my mother's photos. She and Dad traveled around the country at every chance. After his death Mom traveled with a couple different senior groups. These are her pictures. I wanted to preserve them for later generations, also for her family here now.

Photos can tell you so much but you need to be careful of your interpretation. Your mom is a pretty good photographer!!!

Oh yes, everyone seems to see mine differently so I know to be cautious. As far as my Mama goes I talk to her enough to fine out if I am thinking right or wrong. I would never make assumptions on photos alone. Mom did okay with the camera, and she had tons of fun.
Thanks Jim..
Talen runs like a wild river through your family <3 It skipped no generation!
Thank you Lisa <3
